Set up your Subtle account before pairing Voicebuds or using any features. This covers creating your account, verifying your email, and signing in.
Create your account
- Open the Subtle app and tap Get started.
- Tap Sign up.
- Enter your First name, Last name, Email address, and a secure Password.
- Tap submit. You'll move to the Check your email screen automatically.
- If you see an error on submit, check your internet connection and try again.
- If the error says your email is already registered, use Sign in instead — you may already have an account.
Verify your email
Subtle sends a confirmation email after sign-up. You must verify before continuing setup.
- Open your email inbox and find the message from Subtle with the subject "Confirm your signup".
- Check Spam, Junk, and Promotions if it's not in your main inbox.
- Tap Confirm email address.
- Return to the Subtle app — setup continues automatically.
Didn't receive the email, or the link expired?
- Confirm you're checking the inbox for the email address you used at sign-up.
- If the app shows a Resend link option, tap it and wait up to 5 minutes.
- Try opening the app and signing in again — this may trigger a new verification prompt.
- If none of that works, contact support@subtle.co with the email address you used and a description of what you're seeing.
Sign in and sign out
Sign in
- Open the Subtle app and tap Sign in.
- Enter your registered email address and password.
- Tap Sign in. You'll land on your Home feed.
Sign out
- Go to Account (profile icon) in the app.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Sign out.
- Confirm when prompted.
Forgot your password?
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and follow the prompts. A reset link will be sent to your registered email.
Use the same email throughout
Your account email is tied to your membership. To simplify membership management, if you purchased Voicebuds with a checkout email, sign into the app with that same address.
