Pairing problems
- "Voicebuds not found" / can't pair → See "Voicebuds not found / can't pair"
- Bluetooth permission denied → See "Bluetooth permission denied: how to re-enable"
Dictation and keyboard
- Text didn't appear after dictating → See "Dictation recorded but text didn't insert"
- "Launch app to continue" banner → Open Subtle once, wait for Home to load, retry
- "Voicebuds unavailable" banner → Open Subtle → Earbud settings → confirm connection
- Keyboard not showing up → See "Enable dictation everywhere: add the Subtle keyboard"
Offline / connectivity
- Chat is read-only or unavailable → Reconnect to internet and reopen the app
- Notes not appearing → You may be offline. Reconnect and wait ~60 seconds with app open
Firmware
- Update not completing → Charge earbuds and case, retry once → See "Firmware update stuck or failed"
Battery and charging
- Earbuds not charging → Reseat firmly, clean contacts, charge with known-good cable → See "Battery and charging issues"
Audio and calls
