Voicebuds and the charging case use LED lights to communicate status.
Case battery level
When the lid is opened or closed, the LED on the case briefly turns on to show battery level:

Pairing mode
The case LED slowly pulses white when Voicebuds are in pairing mode and ready to connect. To enter pairing mode: place both buds in the case (lid open) and hold the pairing button for 3 seconds.
Factory reset confirmation
After a successful factory reset, the case LED blinks red 3 times to confirm the reset is complete.
Checking battery in the app
For real-time battery levels, open Earbud settings in the Subtle app — it shows precise percentage and time-remaining estimates for each earbud and the case.
Unexpected LED behaviour?
If a pattern appears unexpectedly (constant red, no lights, rapid flashing), place the buds back in the case, close the lid for 10 seconds, then reopen. If the issue persists, contact support at support.subtle.co.
