You can change the email address on your Subtle account from Account settings. The new address requires verification before it becomes active.
Steps
- Go to Account → Update email.
- Enter your new email address and tap Update email address.
- Subtle sends a verification email to your new address. Open it and click the confirmation link.
- Return to the Subtle app. Your email may show as pending verification until the link is clicked, then changes to your new address.
Important: keep your membership email consistent
If you purchased Voicebuds using a specific email (your checkout email), your membership is tied to that address. After updating your account email, confirm your membership and subscription still appear correctly in Account → Subscription. If there's a mismatch, contact support.
Troubleshooting
- Verification email not arriving: Check spam/junk, wait 5 minutes, then use any resend option in the app.
- Email still shows as "pending": Confirm you clicked the link in the email sent to your new address (not the old one).
- New email rejected: The address may already be registered to another Subtle account. Contact support@subtle.co.
