Change your password and recovery phone number

Update your password and recovery phone number from Account settings at any time.

Change your password

1. Go to Account → Change password.
2. Enter your current password.
3. Enter and confirm your new password (follow any length/complexity requirements shown).
4. Tap Change password.

After changing, you may need to sign in again on other devices.

Update your recovery phone number

1. Go to Account → Change number.
2. Enter your new phone number and tap Next.
3. Enter the 6-digit verification code sent via SMS.
4. Confirm — you'll see a success notification.

Troubleshooting

• SMS code not arriving: Wait 60 seconds, then use the resend option. Confirm the phone number you entered is correct.
• Forgot your current password: Sign out and use Forgot password on the sign-in screen to reset via email.
• Password change fails: Your new password may not meet the complexity requirements — check any validation messages shown on screen.

Security note: Never share your password or verification codes with anyone — Subtle support will never ask for these.
