You can change or cancel your Subtle membership at any time from within the app.
How to manage your membership
- Open the Subtle app → go to Account → Subscription.
- Tap Manage (or Manage Membership).
- Choose your action: cancel, upgrade, or downgrade.
- Confirm your selection.
Cancelling
- Cancellation stops auto-renewal at the end of your current billing period.
- You keep full membership access until the period ends — you're not cut off immediately.
- Subscription fees for the current period are non-refundable, except where required by law.
- After cancellation, your account moves to the free tier automatically.
Downgrading to free
Select the free tier option in Manage Membership. Your access to unlimited AI features continues until the end of the current billing period, then transitions to the rate-limited free tier.
Can't find Manage Membership?
- Confirm you're signed in with the email address used at checkout.
- Confirm your membership is active — if it's already expired or cancelled, the manage option may not appear.
