The Home feed is where all your notes and chats live. Here's how it's organised and how to work with it efficiently.
How Home is organised
Items are grouped by date:
- Today — everything created or modified today
- Yesterday — previous day's items
- Older dates — grouped by day, collapsed by default
Tap Show all on an older group to expand it. Tap Hide to collapse again.
Find items fast
- Search — use the search field at the top of Home to find notes and chats by their content.
- Filter — the filter button switches the feed between All, Notes, and Chats. If Home looks emptier than expected, check the filter first — it stays how you left it.
Notes vs. chats
Notes and chats appear as separate item types in the feed — notes show your transcribed voice content, while chats show conversation threads with the AI assistant.
Delete items from Home
- Swipe left on any item to reveal the Delete option.
- Or open the item and use the overflow menu (⋯) → Delete.
- Deletion is permanent — there is no trash or undo. If you might want something later, copy its text out before deleting. See Chat management: rename, share, and delete.
Home appears empty, or an item won't open?
- Confirm you're signed into the correct account email — your content is tied to your account.
- Check the filter — a Notes-only or Chats-only filter hides the other type.
- Check your internet connection, then pull down to refresh.
- If you recorded while offline, your items upload once you reconnect with the app open.
- Seeing "Still syncing this item" when you open something? It's mid-download — go back, give it a moment, and try again.
