The Earbud settings screen is your control panel for Voicebuds — check battery levels, switch noise modes, tune the EQ, and find firmware and model info for support.
How to open Earbud settings
From the Home feed, tap the earbuds icon (usually in the top corner or navigation bar). Voicebuds must be paired and connected to show live data.
Battery levels
You'll see three readouts:
- L — left earbud, shown as a percentage (e.g. "80%")
- R — right earbud, shown as a percentage
- Case — charging case, shown as a percentage
Battery estimates update in real time. Significant differences between L and R are normal depending on usage patterns (e.g. one-ear calls).
Noise modes
- Noise Cancellation: Actively blocks ambient sound — best for focus and music
- Transparency Mode: Filters ambient sound to reduce distractions while still allowing some sound through so you can stay aware of your surroundings
- Off: No processing — passive isolation only
Tap your preferred mode to switch. Changes take effect immediately.
EQ (equaliser)
Adjust the Bass, Mid, and Treble sliders to your preference. There's no "wrong" setting — tune to what sounds best for your content.
About section (model and firmware)
Scroll to the About section to find:
- Serial number — needed for warranty and support requests
- Firmware version — needed for troubleshooting and update tracking
- Updates — if a firmware update is available a yellow button will show up to the right side of the firmware version number
Always screenshot this screen before contacting support — it's the fastest way for us to identify your device.
Disconnect
- Disconnect: Temporarily disconnects Voicebuds without forgetting the pairing. Use this if you're troubleshooting connection issues.

Each earbud has a touch-sensitive surface. Tap patterns control playback, calls, and noise mode.
